NPTEL Swayam Courses 2024 

Nptel Courses will start from January 22,2024. Let go through the registration process in detail. 

Step by Step guide for registration process NPTEL Swayam

Step1: Visit the Swayam Platform.

Step 2:  The above link will redirect to the Swayam website. 

            Click on Sign in or register present at right corner of the website.

            If you are a new user, you will need to create a SWAYAM account. Provide the necessary details, including your email address, and set a secure password. If you already have a SWAYAM account, simply log in using your existing credentials.

Step 3:  Explore the NPTEL Courses 

              Once logged in, browse through the NPTEL courses available in 2024. These courses cover a wide spectrum of subjects, including engineering, sciences, humanities, and more.

Step 4: Select your course 

             Choose the course that aligns with your interests and learning objectives. Click on the course title to view detailed information about the curriculum, instructors, and prerequisites.

Step 5 : Enroll in the course. 

             After selecting your desired course, click on the "Join" button. Some courses may have specific enrollment criteria, so make sure to review and fulfill any prerequisites mentioned.

Step 6: Complete the registration form 

            Fill out the registration form with accurate information. This may include personal details, educational background, and any additional information required by the course.

Step 7: Agree to Terms and Conditions

Carefully read and agree to the terms and conditions of the course. Ensure that you understand the expectations, assessment methods, and any other relevant information provided by the course instructors.

Step 8: Payment (if applicable)

             While many NPTEL SWAYAM courses are free, some may have optional certification or examination fees. If applicable, proceed to the payment section and complete the transaction securely.

Guidelines: 

1. The Candidate can enroll in any number of courses as they want.

 

    -Please login to the exam registration form and select the exam date as per the availability in the exam city chosen by you. Only those exam cities which are mentioned in the exam registration form are available for this semester. You may choose which is most suitable to you.

2. The candidate can take the one exam in forenoon session and another one in the afternoon session. You will be provided with different hall tickets for different sessions.

3. The candidate is not allowed to take more than 2 exams in a day. The exam date given in the exam registration form is based on the availability in that exam city.

4. The candidate has to use the same registered email ID for all courses to have two different sessions on the same day in the same exam centre. There is no option to select any particular session. 

  NPTEL will allot the session (Forenoon / Afternoon) as per the availability and the sessions will not clash. You need to take the exam in the same session which is allotted to you which will be mentioned in the hall ticket. There is no option to take the exam in a different session.

5. NPTEL certificate will be issued based on assignment score​,  unproctored programming test (if its applicable for the courses)​ and final exam score meeting the eligibility criterion. Its the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that he has enough assignment & programming test scores to obtain a certificate if he/she expects a certificate after taking the exam.

6. We request you to please check the ​calculation logic and the ​eligibility​ criteria ​mentioned in the course page & announcement page to get the e-certificate.

7. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that he/she will download the hall ticket at their end before the exam. We also suggest that you check your inbox and spam/junk boxes & promotion /social labels for emails.

8. Candidates can cancel the registration before the last date and take the refund (refer column K in the below table based on the exam date).  Cancellation after the last date will not be allowed. CHARGEBACK through the bank will  not be entertained.​​

9. NOTE: After the last date for data changes (refer to column J in the table below based on the exam date), if you request any changes to your personal information (name, DOB, photo, signature, SC/ST and PWD certificates), NPTEL will charge you an extra 200 rupees for each change.
